SmoothAir RDHx is a rear-door heat exchanger system engineered to meet the demands of today’s high-density IT environments. from modular micro data centers to full-scale hyperscale deployments, it is a perfect option to get scalable, energy-efficient rack cooling without large-scale infrastructure changes. Whether you’re dealing with AI/ML workloads, HPC systems, or mission-critical server infrastructure, SmoothAir delivers precision cooling exactly where it’s needed, like at the rack.

This solution is available in two technology types:

• DX (Direct Expansion): A refrigerant-based system with 25.1 kW cooling capacity. Ideal for edge deployments or sites without chilled water availability.
• CW (Chilled Water): Designed for facilities with centralized cooling, offering cooling ranges from 31.2°C to 65.8°C, depending on the model.

The DX variant simplifies installation with no need for water loops or manifolds, minimizing risk and complexity in fast-paced deployments. Meanwhile, both versions are built to support high inlet temperatures, enabling better energy efficiency and helping lower your overall PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness).
