MC510

In an era of escalating cyberthreats, safeguarding critical infrastructure is an absolute priority and the demand for robust security solutions is constantly on the rise. IDtech’s 5th generation controllers deliver comprehensive protection against today’s cybersecurity and access control challenges. Equipped with sophisticated features such as automated digital certificate management, network security, and end-to-end encryption, they offer robust and reliable protection, making them a crucial tool for meeting the requirements of European cybersecurity regulations such as NIS 2. The MC510, IDtech’s 5th generation master controller, is designed to connect the Unipass access management software with local controllers, supporting up to 16 local controllers.

Product Features

  • Resilient operation: With its enhanced memory capacity and processing power, MC510 enables continuous operation during server disconnections, ensuring uninterrupted access control.
  • Flexible Deployment: Available in MC504, MC510 and MC516 variants to accommodate different local access units (LAUs) and reader requirements
  • Remote management: Supports secure, remote configuration updates through an encrypted web interface, adapting to evolving access control needs.
  • Advanced security protocols: To cater to the growing security requirements, it enables the encryption of communications with the server (AES and TLS).
  • Supports NAC802.1x network access protocol and incorporates the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) for automated digital certificate management. Using this functionality, MCs can automatically request and renew certificates from a Certification Authority (CA).
  • Seamless integration: Maintains full compatibility with IDtech’s controller ecosystem and software suite, enabling unified security management.

Features:
