Due to the fact that iris recognition does not require physical contact with a biometric device, it presents one of the most hygiene hardware options available, keeping end-users safe from the spread of germs and illness that could otherwise be a risk when using a contact-dependent modality such as fingerprint or palm vein recognition. Adding to that, the iris recognition system can help patients who are handicapped or don’t possess limbs to get access to different rooms in a hospital.


Iris recognition technology is, therefore, the perfect choice for the patient as well as doctor/nurse identification.
